Canada Day in Weymouth is held on July 1st. A parade starts the day's events followed by a day full of activities which include but are not limited to vendor sales, 50/50, Duck race, chicken bbq, games of chance, magic show, bingo, music and fireworks.
Music on the Sissiboo is a free summer concert series on Friday evenings from 7pm to 8:30pm at the bandstand downtown behind Sissiboo Landing and the Waterfront Library. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy!
Weymouth Tea Days - Summers in Weymouth would not be complete without historic teas. Members of the Weymouth Historical Society and other community groups hold several teas each summer at the Weymouth Historical Society (across from the Royal Bank) on Highway #1. The teas began over 30 years ago as a bicentennial project for the village. Historic Teas are held at the St. Thomas Church across from the Royal Bank, every Thursday from July to October.
Festival of Trees is held in November at Sissiboo Landing. It is a great way to usher in the Christmas season.
Winter's Night Walk of Lights takes place in December at Vintage Farm Inc. Join us for an enchanted evening of lights, cider and hot coco, and special music. The walk takes you through the forest to the “Sugar Shack” where you can warm up with some delicious warm apple cider. To make you walk more comfortable please bring a small flash light and wear suitable footwear. Delicious food will be available for purchase, returning this year, There is an Admission fee for adults.Children walk for free. Any donations are appreciated. We are also selling tickets on a Gift Basket. All proceeds for the Basket and admission fees will go to help local families in need. Thank you for supporting this community event.
