Minutes of Meeting of Weymouth Board of Commissioners

The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Village of Weymouth was held on May 3rd, 2021 in the meeting room at the Medical Centre with Commissioners Gaudett, Frizzell and Mullen present. 

Meeting was called to order by the Chair at 7:10 pm. 

The minutes of the meeting of Apr 5th, 2021 were approved as presented on motion by Commissioner Mullen and seconded by Commissioner Frizzell

Business Arising out of the Minutes:

            -Chair confirmed with Dorothy that there wasn’t anything in the works for new flood prevention construction and that earlier enquires  had confirmed that there wasn’t any outside funding available for this purpose.

Correspondence: 

            -none

Financial Reports: An updated financial report was presented by Clerk Treasurer. Approved on motion by Commissioner Frizzell, seconded by Commissioner Mullen  

New Business:

• - The party that was interested in purchasing the old recording office was asked to make a proposal. Any disposal will require the approval of the Minister of Municipal Affairs.

            Commission meetings will continue to be held on the first Monday of the month unless otherwise advised. Next meeting will be Monday June 7th, 2021. There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 7:30 on motion Commissioner Frizzell seconded by Commissioner Mullen
