Minutes of Meeting of Weymouth Board of Commissioners
The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Village of Weymouth was held on Sep 13, 2021 in the meeting room at the Medical Centre with Commissioners Gaudett, Frizzell, Doucet and Mullen present.
Meeting was called to order by the Chair at 7:10 pm.
Meeting was then turned over to representatives from the Weymouth Fire Dept. They were here to express concern over the dramatic increase in insurance premiums from $7,283 to $14,289. A cursory review of the policy revealed coverage on a vehicle that they no longer own for $1,200. It was also noted that for the first time they had by changed for liability coverage. As we were unable to answer specific questions they had on coverage it was agreed by the commissioners to give authorization to our insurance broker to discuss any terms of the coverage with the dept Treasurer.
